3D Models and Product Presentations

Gaussian splatting is a 3D reconstruction and rendering technique that creates detailed, photorealistic scenes from multiple photographs. Instead of using traditional meshes, it represents a scene using millions of semi-transparent 3D ellipsoids called "Gaussian splats," each with properties like position, color, size, and orientation. This approach allows for high-fidelity rendering with realistic reflections and is significantly faster than some other 3D rendering methods like NeRF.
